I teach art in a very rural K-8th grade school. Each week, I see about 250 students for 1 hour art classes. I teach Pre-K through 8th grade art, including one class of Special Needs students. Being a Title 1 school, many of my students have no art supplies at home, and have never experienced hands on art making before Kindergarten.
