I am excited about this technology project. I want to bring more technology to the classroom. My students will use the four Amazon Fire Tablets to connect to the internet. They will access educational websites that provide interactive reading materials and games that reinforce their learning. The tablets will also be used to take reading tests. Having the tablets allows more students to be connected. With Amazon Fire tablets in the classroom, we can connect to our quickly changing world. We will use the tablets to research topics in social studies, science, reading, and math. The students will be able to have technology at their fingertips. Many students still do not have computers in their homes. They are not exposed to all the knowledge that is available. With these tablets, we will be able to get the information that is available immediately. We are ready to connect, research, and soar through second grade.
