The students at my school come from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of abilities. Each has unique strengths and challenges. We embrace and strive to empower each child with the knowledge that they are intelligent and capable learners. Some students need a little extra support to overcome challenges that make learning harder. The impact of COVID on their emotional health has been a challenge but they are learning how to be self-aware and handle their big emotions in a positive way. When given the tools they need to succeed, the students at my school will reach great heights making a difference in their homes, our community and one day, the world!
