My class is full of bright young sixth and seventh grade ELA students. I teach in a hands on approach. I am always looking for new supplies to keep the students engaged. The majority of my students come from households where obtaining supplies might be hard to do. I also am starting up the Gardening Club this year as well as the Giving Closet. The Gardening Club with focus on beautifying the school and community. It will have an annual gardening sale to help create funds to keep the program running year after year. The Giving Closet will focus on getting school supplies, clothing and personal hygiene products to students in need.
