My project is simple. I am looking to offer all of my students the ability to have differentiated seats. My goal is that these kids will explore all seating arrangements in order to choose the one that works best for them. They will have flexibility to change their seating choice daily. Offering this for my kids will help those who have a diverse learning style. This will allow for those that need to be free and stand the ability to do so. The kids that need something to maintain their focus, the bounce balls will do this for them. My hope is that by offering flexible seating, they will continue to show responsibility and ownership for their own learning. They will need to use the materials appropriately, and will, in turn, learn more about who they are as learners. This project will be an innovative effort into making sure that all learning styles and kids are reached throughout the day. I often have kids with a multitude of learning needs which require re-focusing methods. These differentiated seats will be one more thing that they will be able to utilize to maximize their learning focus.
