We have a wonderful school environment and we are lucky to have campus-wide WiFi for increased connectivity. My students are excited to learn and improve! Unfortunately, many of my students do not have their own dependable technology to develop and maintain today's required computer literacy skills. Students must have access to such technology in order to develop the skills necessary to succeed in their future college or career endeavors. In addition to conducting research, my students prepare digital presentations to help them share their findings. Accessing the WiFi provided to use academic databases, relevant presentation software, drafting papers, and collaborate with colleagues requires the iPads that you could help us get! Having the extra devices in the room will enable students who do not have their own to participate in my class's college-level research and writing assignments which could eventually lead to undergraduate credit before they even graduate from high school!
