My counseling students are managing many emotions while trying to remain focused on their academics and social functioning. Sometimes all they need is a stress-ball to help them calm down and remain in class, which is where they accomplish the most learning throughout the day. I would like to have enough stress-ball supply materials that if a student needs to make a stress-ball for themselves; they will have the necessary items and they can also keep it with them. I believe creating a stress-ball is a good distress tolerance activity that my students can create and have on hand when needed.
