My students are seniors at a small school in rural North Carolina and represent diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. As most teenagers, my students are very comfortable with technology and are eager to use emerging technology in their school work. I only teach seniors, so all of my students have their eyes on the future. In that future there is a vital need for these young adults to be fluent in many forms of technology to be competitive in education and the job market. I am also the varsity swim coach at our school. We are a relatively new team and integrate technology when we can by using an ipad to video their performance and reflect on stroke technique. My goal is to help these kids reach their potential in and out of the water.
