My kindergarten students are eager to learn! We are a Title I school in an urban, low-income area. More than half of my students are English learners and have limited English proficiency. All of my students are provided with free breakfast, lunch, and fruit/vegetable afternoon snack daily. Our school district is facing extreme budget cuts (over $11 million last school year), making important supplies and resources even more difficult to obtain. Despite the challenges my students face, they are resilient, learning and growing so much every day, which is why I love what I do!
