Most teachers don't go into teaching for the pay; we go into teaching to enrich the lives of students who are both eager to learn or face challenges with learning. Regardless, as an educator I am responsible for instilling in students a love for learning. My students are intelligent and creative and always eager to experience new things. They are loving, engaged in instruction, and most often in need of materials most schools carry inventory on. With the budget cuts affecting Texas schools, and the reality facing our parents, the truth is we are in need of people like you who support teachers through generous donations. My class and I thank you ahead of time for providing us with the tools we need to be successful, life-long learners.
