Cozy spots are a huge part of reading within the classroom! Students need to be comfortable in order to support long term reading engagement. Just think, when do you do your best reading? When you're comfy and cozy of course! Bean bag chairs, lounge cushions, and throw pillows are just a few of the items that could help. I want to be able to provide my students with all the supplies necessary to succeed, regardless of financial constraints. Other organizational items will cut down on distractions. While binders are essential, we also need organizers within that binder to hold our supplies such as pencil pouches and paper organizers. This ensures a one-stop shop, making independent reading flawless.
