This project will provide alternative seating options at my teacher table for my students. This area is where small group and individual instruction occurs on all subjects. The wobble chairs will provide children an outlet for nervous energy, allowing them to indulge their wiggles and still dedicate their focus to the task at hand. All students will benefit from these chairs. For the most active children, however, they could be a necessity. They would be especially beneficial for developing the skills of beginning readers. The chairs are designed to allow students slight movement in their chairs, while not disrupting other learners.
