Micro bits coding kits provide first-hand learning opportunities through applied activities. This program helps students actively learn and, more importantly, apply the technological, scientific, and mathematical concepts needed to succeed in life. The additional micro bits units will allow virtual students to participate fully. The most effective way to ensure retention of knowledge is to engage students in projects with a purpose. The program focuses on students developing technological literacy skills and aptitudes associated with STEM. When our students are engaged, they learn and, in return, can use these skills throughout adulthood.
