This might seem like a random list of odds and ends, but really, almost every item on this list has more than one purpose. My classroom has a wide variety of skill sets, so this list is seeking to reach every one of my kids. We will be using the sand to practice writing letters, sight words, math facts, and so much more! The beads, pipe cleaners, stamps, and even play-doh will be used to create words and numbers. What kid doesn't love a scented marker? These are especially engaging when they are used for free drawig during morning work or for writing word families and sight words during word work! Add in magnets, and our morning work will include math and science! Of course, we need storage for all of our fun activities, so that's why we would love shoe boxes and storage bags. Your generous donation not only helps our class get supplies that we need, but also helps each one of my kids reach a new goal, develop a love for engaging learning, and individualize their own education! This project will help create an even stronger sense of teamwork, family, and community that makes my class, and school, so special. We appreciate your support!
