Guided reading book bags are a big necessity in our classroom. With these bags, students will have a secure way to transport their guided reading books to and from home. This will allow them to safely keep up with their materials. Currently, students take home books in a file folder. This method isn't working very well. They tear easily and the books tend to fall out. We strive to send home 1-2 new books every week. These bags will not only help the student keep up with their books, it will also keep our school costs low because we are not having to replace lost books.
