Aloha! I teach at a school on the Leeward Coast of O'ahu, consisting of predominately low-income native Hawaiian and Polynesian students. This is my first encounter with Donors Choose, and I am looking forward to enjoying its benefits together with my Gr. 9-12 AVID students. With your assistance, together, we will be able to create a comfortable learning environment filled with rich experiences to promote and foster academic achievement and student success. I am hoping to get the support from Donors Choose to help my high school students beat the sweltering summer heat in a cool classroom, and take meaningful excursions to visit various college campuses and businesses. On behalf of my students and I, mahalo in advance for your consideration and support. I can't wait to see what transpires, and I look forward to sharing this wonderful experience with you.
