My classroom is home to 24 bright, curious, and energetic young learners. Many of my students are English as a New Language (ENL) learners, meaning they are not only learning academic content but also developing their English vocabulary and communication skills. Each day, they show incredible resilience as they navigate learning in a new language. At this age, students are also learning how to manage big emotions, stay focused, and build relationships. For many, especially my ENL students, this can feel overwhelming. Despite this, they are kind, hardworking, and eager to learn. Creating a calm, structured, and welcoming environment is essential to helping them feel safe, confident, and ready to grow. I strive to make our classroom a cozy space where every child feels supported, valued, and capable of success
