Once again I have had the great opportunity to teach the fairly new grade transitional kindergarten. My students come to school daily with an open imagination towards learning new social and academic venues. These very young children bring with them the energy and zest for learning. However, since this is a fairly new grade I have found it a challenge with meeting the supplies for my students. From crayons to outdoor equipment has been difficult. We are a title one school with very little or no funds for any type of supplies. I have turned to Donors Choose to give my students the opportunity to grow socially and academic and to give them right tools to feel confident for their next year kindergarten experience.
