The best way to encourage a love for reading is to read! My students are steadily improving in their reading ability and strengthening their love of learning. The library's job is to provide unencumbered access to these materials. Providing each classroom with a wheeled cart for students to return and borrow books from our library will meet that need. Having materials easily accessible consistently, will help my students grow stronger in all academic areas. Many of my students do not have access to books outside of what they borrow from our school library, that is why this project is so important. Having carts to transport their books easily, will encourage students to return library books in a timely manner, as well as take advantage of the curated materials that are provided to meet and enrich their personal and academic needs.
