Rugs have been used in the primary grades for a long time. It signifies the class gathering area for circle time and whole group learning. It provides versatile seating and provides comfort for students as they sit, learn, and interact with their peers. Easels and rugs go hand-in-hand when it comes to learning. With an easel, students are able to see what the teacher writes. Whiteboards allow students to fully engage and participate in whole group lessons. With students being able to participate, students' learning experiences become meaningful. Rather than having students sit and soak in information, students are engaged. They write down their answers, they share their answers with peers which allows them to talk about what they wrote or draw on their board. By donating to our project, you will provide not only the necessary tools for their learning but will also provide a great and purposeful learning experience for each of my students.
