Contemp Lit students are AWESOME! They want to read current novels that have themes that relate to their every day lives. Our students are some of the kindest individuals we, as teachers, have had the chance to meet and work with. However, their level of understanding and comprehension of the world and their own surroundings is somewhat sheltered, with a good majority not having felt the strange and sometimes cruel realities outside of suburban high schools.

About my class
