With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level. As we build their love of reading, students will be able to choose books that they can easily relate to and see themselves celebrated. I remember the impact of being able to see myself in a character and I want my students to be able to also have this same experience. Help me support students by creating a library that they love! This year, we're also going to be focused on social emotional learning. Working on developing the necessary skills needed to be able to recognize our own emotions and needs that arise from those emotions will be so key after a year away from being in school. In addition, our classroom needs a few essentials like timers to keep us on time and sharpeners so that our students can write away!. Thank you!
