My students are happy, innocent, and hard working 7-8 year olds. They all come from primarily Spanish speaking households. Our school is located in a low income area with wonderful families and community members. Literacy is a big challenge for us and learning to read in English is extremely important for my students' success! With more books in English, the more reading they can do!
