Primarily, an ipad will allow more of my students to meet their early literacy and math goals. They are eager to reach these goals as it will make a tremendous difference in their learning. They know this at such an early age! They are bright-eyed and eager! An ipad will greatly enhance their school lives. Currently, each student is required to use a school district-wide, computer based, reading and math program 45 minutes each per week. Currently we have two (old-slow) computers in the classroom. It is nearly impossible to meet such a requirement. An ipad will allow three children to be working at a time.
