Having adaptive PE equipment available for all of my students will increase success and enjoyment in physical activity tasks. Success in PE means confidence and joy! With the addition of these adaptive materials, I can design games and activities that are inclusive to all students at all levels. Regardless of their skills or disabilities. Our school follows an inclusion model where are mentally and physically disabled students are integrated into the general education population as often as possible, but without proper equipment, their disabilities prove to be a challenge with the materials provided my the district or PE teachers personal budgets. The Create-A-Beam will be an amazing addition to our core strength stations and the Omnikin Balls are the perfect weight to ensure success for all students regardless of their arm strength!
