Every day we work together practicing strategies that build responsibility and ownership of our learning. One of the cornerstones of this perspective is organization. Ensuring we are keeping our routines simple and our materials in place allows more time and energy spent on our learning growth. This mailbox system builds a daily routine for receiving work to take home while also teaching about responsibility. Students will be responsible for collecting their work from their mailbox during our pack up time. Students will also be responsible for checking their mailbox at the end of every week ensuring it's clean and empty.
