These laptops will be shared with 2 classes of enthusiastic second graders. The students will have access to the technology on a daily basis during our math center rotations and will use them primarily to complete lessons on Imagine Math that are correlated to our units and skills of focus. The students will also be able to use them for science to research and record their results. Students have limited access to technology at home and when they do, it is usually to play video games. This project will encourage them to use the technology to positively affect their academics while still being in tune with the 21st century.
