In our science classroom students are very involved. They like to discover patterns, make connections, help their classmates, and solve problems! My students are in a selective enrollment school in an urban area--meaning they applied and were accepted to our school. Despite being a selective enrollment school, we still have a population with over 80% low income and minority students. Many of my wonderful students have overcome significant obstacles to get where they are today. My students are inquisitive, easy to work with, passionate, motivated, and like to be challenged.
