I work with an amazing group of 8th graders. They are at a 6-8 charter school, and they are great role models and leaders for the rest of our school. They have known each other for a long time, and they really take care of each other as scholars and as people. In my classroom, I teach students who are readers, dancers, dreamers, poets, soccer players, basketball players, and so much more. They have so many aspirations, and I know that reading and writing at the right level is the key to any and all of their dreams.

About my class
