Third grade is a magical year. Students are developing their personalities and discovering passions. They are moving from learning the process of reading and writing to discovering the creativity involved in each. I get to spend each day watching them have their eyes opened to the world around them. Through these projects, I hope to find resources that will further inspire and encourage their curiosity and zest for life and learning. They say that learning is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire. What a cool thing that I get to be the one that hands them the match.

About my class
