Our school offers LEGO League as a GIFTED class. This is the first time we've brought this class over to the elementary level. Our team started off with 9 student members and 1 robot. We have expanded to have 16 members and are hoping to get more robots to practice with. The kids learn programming and how to be part of a team. We are hoping to continue to add more members to our team and this includes purchasing more robots, too! If we are able to buy more robots, we will be able to sign up more teams for the First Lego League competition in the fall. Our students don't have much exposure to STEM but Lego League is a great way to get our kiddos interested in these activities!
