I am preparing to teach reading, writing, science, art and technology to 5th graders in a Mandarin Immersion Program. Through developing literate individuals, I have an opportunity to build a creative, courageous and caring community. I am planning high-quality classroom lessons and projects to give my incoming students greater opportunities to read and write about things they care about, which will help them make a difference in the world.

About my class
