I am the writing teacher for students in grades 3-8. My students are working hard to master the art of writing every day. My students are improving their grammar and mechanics in every area of writing. They have written plays, autobiographies, summaries, book reviews, and descriptions so far this year. They will build their portfolio's with expository writing and research projects. Writing can be expressive and my students are learning how to engage their audiences through writing daily. I am looking to make writing exciting for my students because if they become better writers, they will be able to express their thoughts in every subject area throughout their educational career.
