Virtual learning due to COVID has been hard for students all across the country. WIFI issues, little siblings and helping parents by picking up extra jobs has challenged a lot of my kids and I am proud of their dedication and tenacity amidst the circumstances. I want to continue incentivizing my students and reward their engagement in online class and awesome work as we go into second semester and month 5 of online learning this school year! I will be putting goodie bags of snacks, candy, a fun item and a certificate with an encouragement handwritten note. I will then safely deliver these, following CDC protocol, at their doorstep, since many of these kids have not stepped foot into school. I teach 200 students and picking 1-2 students for each of my 8 classes, quickly adds up and I want to continue motivating them about coming into class even if it is through a screen! Thank you in advance for your donation.
