My students are entrepreneurs in the making. My students have learning deficiencies which is a unique characteristic that sets them apart others, their charming personalities and willingness to learn has contributed to their success thus far. Excelsior Prep Charter of Miami Gardens is a Title I school, which means the goal is to improve academic achievement and provide extra support to our students in the areas of reading and math to our disadvantaged students. Majority of the students receive free/reduced lunch. They love to learn with technology to be just like their typically developing peers. Despite their learning challenges, they have a hunger for knowledge and are excited to come to school and learn new things each day.
