My students begin their journey in my classroom at just three years old. All of my students are on the autism spectrum and many are nonverbal when they arrive. For many families, this is their child’s first school experience, and it is the beginning of an important journey of growth, communication, and connection. My classroom is designed to be a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where every child is valued exactly as they are. Friendship is something we intentionally nurture every day. My students are still learning how to connect with peers, understand social cues, and participate in shared activities. Each student communicates differently In our classroom & every form of communication is honored and encouraged. In our classroom, every child belongs, every voice matters, and every small step forward is something to celebrate.
