The headphones will help the students to stay focused on their daily work and minimize distractions among other students. During our specials, we are working next to each other and time on task is being wasted. I find most students being off task because they are watching other students do their work. I have some students that cannot ignore distractions. There are some students that want to learn as much as they can, but their peers are capturing their attention. I have experience my students staying focused and on task, when they have their headphones on without other distractions in their surroundings.
