Students will learn to through speaking and listening to the English language. They will create art work, poetry and stories that will be laminated and displayed for their friends and family to see. Students will work with their parents to share information about their culture and backgrounds. These students will develop confidence in reading, writing and mathematics skills while understanding how the world works. We will learn about nature, American history, and develop our reading fluency and phonological awareness by using language software developed for English language learners. Please help celebrate these learners, create a lasting bond with their families and help them learn to read and write like rising third graders!
