My fifth grade students are highly motivated and come to school ready to learn daily. These students come from homes that are primarily low-income families. They are so eager to learn new concepts to help them meet grade-level standards. Our school is nestled in a community that lacks outside resources to technology. My classroom has outdated computers that no longer work and need a desperate update. These fifth- graders would benefit from using technology to help them meet grade level standards and keep them interested in learning new concepts.
