Many students in my reading and STAAR reading classes have accommodations. The class set of headphones will help these students be able to hear their passages read aloud to them during assignments and tests. The class set of whiteboards will help reduce paper usage and will be an engaging way for students to answer questions! A quick look around the room will tell me if students are understanding the lesson or not. This is my first year teaching, so I'm trying to stock up on books and dictionaries that we use almost every day! I chose books that focus on diversity and are uplifting and positive for my students to read. The presentation clicker will help me be able to freely move around the room and monitor students while teaching lessons. The Logitech webcam will be for Zoom meetings with my virtual students. I've been using a Chromebook, but it slows me down having to log in to a new computer each time I need to hop on Zoom. Thank you for supporting me and my 6th graders!
