Every day my students come to class ready and willing to learn. As I teach, I notice that some kids will naturally move around, stand or fidget as they learn. Over the years, I have allowed my students to find a comfortable and safe place for them to complete their work. I currently have a large carpet and bean bag chairs for the students to use as a flexible learning space. My students' focus and attention has improved because they are given the option to find their best learning space. The yoga mats and clipboards will allow students to sit or lay on the floor while having a sturdy writing tool. The wobble chairs will allow my students to remain at their seat while having the flexibility of moving as they complete their work. The yoga balls also allow the students to be able to work as well as be able to move around while working on their core and balance. This project will allow my students to reflect on their learning and find where they learn best.
