These Bloxels kits would allow me to teach an entire class of students how to make their own video games. Bloxels combines tactile learning with digital problem solving and would help me incorporate my students' interest in technology into the storytelling process. Moreover, having eight kits would provide me with the opportunity to teach my students collaborative skills while still giving every student a chance to customize their own video game. The kits would be used with my library classes, my after school Maker Club, and during open Makerspace time. They would make the process of video game creation more accessible for students who might be intimidated by programming something from scratch.
