My classroom hosts students grades 9-12. These students are English Learners and come from many home cultures and countries. They are incredibly culturally competent and linguistically gifted and speak multiple languages such as Thai, Karen, Somali, Hmong, Arabic, Spanish, Oromo and many more. Many were born in Saint Paul, while others moved to the US from their home countries as young kids or as recently as this year. They are talented and motivated to learn, achieve academic success and graduate!

About my class
