Our classroom is bustling with learning. We spend lots of time as readers, writers, and mathematicians. We practice being respectful, responsible, and in our classroom. We laugh, share stories, and learn about each other. My classroom is filled with group of 25 first graders that are enthusiastic, eager, and excited to learn each and every day. They love to learn and participate in hands-on learning. They enjoy playing games and working together to take one step at a time towards success. My students reside in a predominantly poverty-stricken area of Erie with over 95% of our students receiving free/reduced lunches. My classroom is fully diverse with a large population of English Language Learners. We learn through whole group, small group, and independent instruction. We strive to provide students with the vision of a positive future for all.
