My students are strong-willed and know what it is like to make sacrifices for others and themselves. Each student has either one or both parents in the military. My students sometimes only have one parent at home for an extended period of time because their other parent is deployed stateside or overseas. Being raised in a military household and understanding what it is like to be a military child, I walk into my classroom each morning anxiously waiting to hear my student's stories and see their willingness to empower their own learning. Our small school does not limit our abilities. It provides opportunity for growth, if one will seek to find it. As a class, they strive to be their individual best and only want to help each other find their gift as well. The diversity in our class is fully embraced and they believe in each other, showing compassion and an open heart. Sacrifice=my students. #PawloskiClassFam
