As the new librarian, I want to create a welcoming library where every student feels welcomed. Our students love discovering new stories, exploring different topics, and sharing books with their friends, but having a wide variety of engaging books is essential to keeping that excitement for reading alive. New books and other supplies will give students opportunities to explore genres and topics that interest them while also helping reluctant readers discover stories they can connect with. With the support of donors, we can build a stronger and more engaging collection that encourages our students to read for both learning and enjoyment. Most importantly, we can help our students see themselves as readers and remind them that there is a story waiting for everyone.
