My students and I thank you for all of your support and generosity in supporting our learning goals! Within the last school year, our resilient students endured the intense pressure and stress of transferring to an entirely new school site (mid year) due to the threat of lava flowing on to our home campus. We set up shop in the parking lot of a nearby high school and taught out of portable buildings. It was a time of great worry and uncertainty for us all. I am happy to share that we are now back at our home campus and are enjoying being back in a fully functioning classroom. Our class this year has a very colorful mix of students from General Ed to English Language Learners. We are all enthusiastic about learning and love to learn and discover, especially with hands on activities! Your kind donation will help us to fund exciting and engaging learning centers in both ELA and Math at our Tile 1 School.
