Our classroom has many multilingual learners who benefit from visual materials projected on the board. Projected timers and checklists also help teach kids executive functioning and time management skills. We use our projector every day to study history and civics through documentaries, photos, and other visuals to help all students access the material. Together, we watched the first elected female mayor of Boston give her inauguration speech. We've analyzed political cartoons and discussed documentaries. Our current projector has sadly lost its light and made it harder to recreate these learning experiences. We deeply appreciate any help getting a new one!
