My students come from very poor families; few of them have any experience with technology outside of school. Many of the students are immigrant and nearly 75% of them are English Language Learners. Despite the rampant poverty in the district, many of the families highly value their children's education. Coming to school is the highlight of the day for many children. The faculty and staff strive to make it a warm, rich, inviting atmosphere.
