The vast majority of my students come from low income communities and or first generation new comers, that lack many resources. My class deserves to have hands-on, real world activates that furthers their knowledge and keeps them engaged in higher learning. Tapping the unique powers of these iPads will unleash neurocognitive learning capabilities in the brain that aren't often used during traditional instruction. These 2 iPads will help my students connect with real world abstract concepts, global issues, and explore how science, math, reading, and social studies are closely connected. The National Science Foundation's (NSF) Science360 will provide easy access to engaging science, engineering images and video from around the globe. Students will also have access to a news feed featuring breaking news from NSF-funded institutions. These iPads will also help my students to become critical thinkers and problem solvers.​
